Journal entry:
Date: 06 August 2006, Sunday
Mood: Strangely tired

As told previously, my weekly update was delayed by a series of unfortunate events. :P
Originally planning to upload on Wednesday, the computer I was using (at school, no internet access at home, will talk about that later) had not one but two viruses which made uploading at that time impossible. Luckily, my pen drive was able to be healed from the virus.
Then on Friday, I had a car accident on my way to school. I was driving till the T  junction which at that time was around 11.45am (rush hour). Anyone who had driven in a city knows how hard is it to come out to the main road during rush hour. Thus, once my lane is clear (it's a double lane road) I drove out and seconds later BUMP! was hit at the back. Apparently, another car had crossed from the outer lane into mine and didn't brake in time.
This and then that (blah, blah, blah), both our car were driven to a nearby workshop, our respective fathers came to settle out the problem. The problem is, the chap (along with his father) who ran into me thinks I'm wrong and he's right, while I of course said otherwise.
Here's the case: The chap argued that I should have waited for both lanes to be clear before I came out.
Duh! As I said earlier, its very hard to come out during rush hour and thus should take any opportunity that presents itself. My lane was clear, he was the one who crossed lane, without signaling too. If he had, I would've noticed it and won't come out.
Well, in the end they still didn't want to admit they were wrong so we both took it to the police and then to the court.
It's a small accident actually, no one's hurt, my rear bumper's cracked a little and his front just needs a re-spray. The problem is the chap's father is an ex-policeman while mine is a civil servant. My father said they can just pay for their damage while we pay for ours if he admits he's wrong. But *sigh* he just won't and its out of my hands now......
Whew! Quite a long rant today, next up the beginning of school (2nd semester).

Comments:
Dryad archer. Can't seem to be able to draw the face symmetrically and the body ratio feels slightly off. Oops! The hands seems to be too small. She's carrying 2 quivers as you can see, one is for normal arrows while the other is for enchanted/special arrows
